This is Nokia’s first Dual SIM Music phone that comes with dual standby. The phone was announced in May, and it is now available in the market in four colors, Red, Ocean Blue, Dark Grey and white. We have the red colored one. This Music phone has speaker that can produce up to 106 phon of loudness and it runs on S30 OS. The X1-01 is a bar phone with a weight of 91.05 grams. The TFT screen is 1.8 inches supporting 65K colours on 128×160 pixels resolution. The keyboard is alphanumeric and the phone supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode. Dual Standby mode is where both the SIM are active when the phone is on; all new Dual SIM handsets come with this option so you need not worry about this feature. The Nokia X1-01 is a music phone with build in music player that can play MP3 files. The phone also comes with FM Radio to keep you entertained anytime. The handset has 3 dedicated keys basically made to manage the playlist. You can choose the shuffle mode to mix up the playlist. Listen to your favourite music on the headset that can be connect to the 3.5mm audio jack or play it aloud on the build in speaker. On a single change the Nokia X1-01 can play music for almost 36 hours. Other features are MP3 / Vibration ringtones, Speaking Alarm, call tracker, microSD / SDHC support to up to 16GB and hot swappable feature where in you can change the secondary SIM without shutting off the phone. The Nokia X1-01 comes with the 1320 mAh Li-ion battery that gives an amazing standby time of approximately 43 days. You can expect a talktime of approx 13 hours. 1320 mAh kind of battery are usually used with smartphones that need extra power because of the many unique features they support. However the Nokia X1-01 is too simple and it is logically that such a battery will make the Nokia last longer. This is a very simple phone, yet very neat. The phone may look slightly bulky when compared with similar phones available in the Indian markets. The phone is tough build but in case you accidently drop it the back cover and the battery may probably fall apart but will not get damaged easily (This usually happens with many Nokia phones). This is a good backup phone with main features like the Dual SIM, Excellent battery life and a music player.
