This is one of the three newly announced phones from Sony. The Sony Xperia SX SO-05D is a really powerful phone, however, it’s sort of limited. This phone is known to only come out in the Japan market. While there has been much protest and plead world-wide for this phone to be released in other places as well, little is known whether or not the Sony Xperia SX SO-05D will actually come out in any other country than Japan. What you will find here are the Official Preliminary Specifications, so the phone may or may not be a bit different from what you will find here. However, these being the official specs, you can trust me on the fact that the phone will be very similar. The Sony Xperia SX SO-05D is very similar to the Xperia GX, running on Android 4.0 but has its own differences. Weighing only 95 grams, it is one of the lightest smartphone available today. However, the phone has a smaller screen size than Xperia GX - 3.7 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The display features multi-touch capacity, proximity and ambient light sensors which adjusts display’s backlight improving the user experience and the battery life. Xperia SX also has an impressive camera unit. The phone has an 8 megapixels primary camera which is capable of HD recording. There is another 1.3 MP front camera which is good enough for video calling. The camera unit features LED flash, 3D Capture, Autofocus, Image Stabilization and Panorama. The phone is powered with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and supported by 1 GB RAM. Xperia SX has an expandable 8 GB internal memory. It supports all standard connectivity options required today such as Bluetooth, Infrared, WiFi and also allows Mobile Hotspot Tethering. With a 1,500 mAh Li-Ion battery the Xperia GX delivers 6 hours of talktime on 2G. Last but not least, we’ll be taking a look at the more random features and capabilities of the Sony Xperia SX SO-05D. The sensors of the Sony Xperia SX SO-05D are as following : Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity and Compass. Out of all of those, I must say, in my opinion the Black one looks best since the frontal part of the phone is Black on all models and it fits best with the Black plastic on it.
